Most weddings in Oslo follow a safe recipe: ceremony, dinner, cake, dancing. It is lovely, but it is also predictable. If you want your guests to remember your day long after the last waltz, you need an element that stands out.

What we offer for weddings

Cask & Bottle is not a catering company. We are tasting experts who tailor experiences around the very best in spirits, whisky, gin and cocktails. Here are three ways we can be part of your wedding day:

1. Welcome drink with a story

Let us stand at the door with something far better than standard prosecco. We can serve a signature cocktail made specifically for the couple, based on their taste and story. Maybe a drink inspired by their first holiday together? Or an aquavit serving that gives older guests an immediate conversation starter.

2. Tasting pause during dinner

Between main course and dessert we can set up a small tasting station. Guests get to sample three or four different spirits while we tell them about origin, production and what makes each glass special. It breaks up dinner in an elegant way and creates room for laughter and new acquaintances at the table.

3. Surprise moment mid-party

This is our favourite. We come in during dancing, set up a small table, and announce that something special is happening. A blind tasting, a competitive round where guests guess what they are drinking, or a bottle opening that feels more like a ceremony than a serving. It creates magical moments.

Why spirits work so well at weddings

Spirits are social. There is something about the ritual: the smell, the glass, the story, the taste. When we stand there and talk guests through a glass of aquavit or a special whisky, something happens between people. Strangers start talking. We come to you

Is your venue too small? Is the wedding at a cabin? No problem. We pack glasses, bottles and the equipment we need, and travel to wherever the celebration is. All we need is a table and a bit of space. We handle the rest.
