Cocktail workshop or cocktail tasting: what fits you best?
People often ask for a cocktail workshop, but what they actually want can be two different things: making drinks themselves or enjoying a guided tasting where the drinks are served. Both can be brilliant, but they fit different groups.
Cocktail workshop
In a workshop, guests mix drinks themselves with guidance. It is interactive, energetic and great for smaller groups that want to do something hands-on.
Best for:
- •Small groups, usually up to 6 people
- •Birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties and friends
- •People who want to learn techniques
- •Groups that enjoy a little chaos and laughter
Cocktail tasting
In a tasting, we make and serve the drinks while guiding you through flavours, ingredients and stories. Guests can relax, taste and enjoy the experience without standing behind the bar.
Best for:
- •Larger groups
- •Company events and formal gatherings
- •Groups that want smooth flow and less mess
- •People who care more about flavour than technique
Which should you choose?
Ask yourself three questions:
- 1.How many people are coming?
- 2.Do they want to make drinks or just enjoy them?
- 3.Is the setting relaxed or more polished?
If the group is small and playful, choose a workshop. If the group is larger or you want everything to run smoothly, choose a tasting.
Can you combine them?
Yes. A good format is one welcome cocktail served by us, one hands-on drink, and one final cocktail served as a tasting. That gives you both interaction and flow.
Not sure what fits your group? Tell us about the occasion, and we will suggest the best format.
